ADELAIDE BABY SHOWER
A HUGE thanks to Mum and Bec (pictured above) for all their effort in giving the bump and I a great Adelaide baby shower. It was held at a local hockey club with a kitchen and play ground. There were about 28 women, 11+ children and even a couple a men enjoying the fun and games.
We played plenty of games, I even had my first turn at changing a nappy...a clean one! I think sherilyn with her 5 children (including triplets) had an experience advantage over me in the nappy changing race!

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts and best wishes for our little family. We managed to almost fit everything in our suitcases to bring home to Brissy.

Once again thanks to everyone for making it a wonderful celebration for the bump and I! I will try and add a link to the rest of the baby shower photos soon.

5 month BUMP!

Well I thought I should finally be brave and show off my little baby bump. This is the bump and I at 5 months (20 weeks)!

Snug as a bug!

Another case of getting spoiled by the grandparents already. Nanna (Leon’s Mum) bought this beautiful warm jumper for Baby Wregg while on a recent holiday in Tasmania. It has a detailed little winter scene all over it.

Very Cute!

Oscars Motherly instincts

Oscar is a little jealous of all the presents that Baby Wregg is receiving. He has taken a particular shine to the set of gorgeous hand puppets that Linda could not resist buying for Baby Wregg. Oscar seems to have gotten in touch with his motherly instincts in this photo!

Poor neglected Oscar.

Tap Tap Tap

Is someone knocking on the inside of my belly?? I have felt the occasional tapping from the inside down in from my hip bones. I have been thinking it may be the baby, I am now sure! I found out today during the scan that the placenta is actually positioned at the front between my belly skin and the baby. This is very normal and is actually good protection. It will move in the next few weeks as Baby Wregg gets bigger and pushes it out the way. Anyway with the placenta protecting the baby, I am unable to feel it moving around as much. I will have to wait a few more weeks for some really good kicks!

Out of interest Baby Wregg is now 20cm long from head to toe, 11cm is legs! The doctor said this was very normal considering the size of the parents!!! I may be having a tall baby!
