I give up!

I give up on trying to catch up on this blog, I just keep getting further and further behind.

So I figure you would all like to see the latest photos of our gorgeous little girl rather then ones from a month or more ago. I will try to catch you up eventually!

Introducing Alison

The Birth

The Birth Story (In brief)
Well we had little to no sleep last night. I had a mild cramp all night long as a result of the stuff they give you to start the induction process. I was actually happy when the 5am alarm went off and I could have a shower and get the day started.
We arrived at the hospital and were admitted to the birthing suite. I was put on a drip and was in full labour within half an hour or so.
At 1:31pm Alison Louise Wregg was born. She was 50cm long and weighed 3.42kg (8 pound 1).

One night to go

Count Down in Hours!
Baby Wregg was due to be born on the 5th of September. Well apparently he/she did not get that memo. So I have been booked in for an induction that will apparently result in Baby Wregg being born on the 10th. Tonight, being the 9th, we visited the Wesley Hospital and started the process of being induced. We will have to be back at the hospital at 6am tomorrow morning. They have told me to go home and get a “good nights sleep”! Who sleeps well knowing they are going to give birth the next day??

9 months!

9 Month Bump

Well as you can see we have reached the 9 month milestone. I have finished work and have been spending my time sorting things out at home. A new family member creates a whole bunch of paperwork and requires so much organisation. We are slowly getting there.

The bump has gotten large, even if the rest of me has not changed to much. I am at the stage where I am uncomfortable and would like Baby Wregg to hurry up and want to be born. I have been informing The Bump that it has its marching orders and is on count down to D Day (Delivery Day). I am sure Baby Wregg will be born with military precision on time!
Hopefully you will hear some good news soon.
