9 months!

9 Month Bump

Well as you can see we have reached the 9 month milestone. I have finished work and have been spending my time sorting things out at home. A new family member creates a whole bunch of paperwork and requires so much organisation. We are slowly getting there.

The bump has gotten large, even if the rest of me has not changed to much. I am at the stage where I am uncomfortable and would like Baby Wregg to hurry up and want to be born. I have been informing The Bump that it has its marching orders and is on count down to D Day (Delivery Day). I am sure Baby Wregg will be born with military precision on time!
Hopefully you will hear some good news soon.

Week 6 - Parents to Be Class

Leon and I have completed our Parents to Be classes. Are we now fit to be parents?? Well I think we know a little more about what to expect during our stay in hospital and what might happen at the birth. As far as being good parents....time will tell.

Bump gets bigger!

QLD Baby Shower

QLD BABY SHOWER!
My girlfriend Beth (left) did a wonderful job of throwing me a fantastic QLD Baby Shower. I was lucky enough to have my Mum fly up from Adelaide for the event. We held it at Leons Dads house with the girls inside playing the usual shower games, eating and drinking.

Once again we recieved amazing gifts....people just love shopping for babies
Friends from work

Invaded by boys and babies!

Parents to Be - week 5

Our second to last lesson!
We watched another quality video made in late 80's...have to laugh at the attitudes and outfits. The lesson was focused on how to feed your child and what comes out the other end. Have to admit we are looking forward to having our Tuesday nights back to ourselves.

Parents to Be - week 4

We had a special treat this week, we had a visit to the maternity ward and watched a tiny new baby have its bath. The little baby boy was so small and cried when he was placed in the warm water. I guess Leon and I will get the hang of handling something so small and fragile.

The rest of the lesson included learning how to swaddle the baby and what to expect your baby to look like after birth. We saw dozens of photos of new borns and they all looked so different. Some were very cute and other were...well...a baby. No mater what Baby Wregg looks like, I am sure we will love him/her.

Bath time

Callum tries out Baby Wregg's bath. Baby Wregg gave me a few good kicks to remind everyone he/she was watching and playing to!
