Tonka Trucks
Leon and the boys were out with their Tonka Trucks on Monday shifting dirt around to level the block. By the end of this week the block will be cut and filled
ready for a slab to be poured. I wont get to excited as there is a lot of red tape to go through before the slab can be poured, including all the council approval process. But it is a step in the right direction.

You may recall that Leon's brother Jeff and his wife Sara have just spent the last 6 weeks on a tag-along 4WD tour from the east coast to the west coast of Australia. Leon was VERY jealous! Well, they returned on Sunday with gifts for us all!! I received a lovely pendant and handbag. Of course there was something for the bump (pictured above). Leon loves the fishing T-shirt and the snappy crocodile booties are fun! Thanks Sara and Jeff

Adelaide fun - Bec's 30th
Happy 30th Birthday Rebecca!
Leon and I had a wonderful time at your 'Red Carpet' birthday celebration. Thank you for asking me to make a speech, it was a real honour. It was great to catch up with all the old gang again.
I hope you liked the birthday book we put together for you, everybody contributed all their best wishes for your future.

ADELAIDE BABY SHOWER
A HUGE thanks to Mum and Bec (pictured above) for all their effort in giving the bump and I a great Adelaide baby shower. It was held at a local hockey club with a kitchen and play ground. There were about 28 women, 11+ children and even a couple a men enjoying the fun and games.

We played plenty of games, I even had my first turn at changing a nappy...a clean one! I think sherilyn with her 5 children (including triplets) had an experience advantage over me in the nappy changing race!
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts and best wishes for our little family. We managed to almost fit everything in our suitcases to bring home to Brissy.

Once again thanks to everyone for making it a wonderful celebration for the bump and I! I will try and add a link to the rest of the baby shower photos soon.
